Individual Therapy for Adults
When you work one on one with a therapist, you have a safe place in which to sort out what’s working in your life and what’s not working. Your unique situation is taken into account so that recommendations for change are tailored to you. You will learn to better understand yourself and to identify your strengths and areas for improvement. Recommended strategies are provided so that you have a chance to practice new ways of thinking about and reacting to people and events in your life. Emotional management strategies are also discussed to help you with uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety, depression, etc.
